Thought the conditions would be ideal for practising my gybes and other manouveres. The wind wasnt qite strong enough to get planing but sailed quit a distance on my first tack, manage to gybe without falling in and then sailed back to my starting point only to find the currents from the Lune estuary being very strong from all the recent rain.
Managd to get back but I was downwind by 100 metres or so from launch point. Had to do the walk of shame and then start of again, the same happened again on my next tack, I was tring to sail upwind as far as possible but the currents were just to strong so I made it back again 100 metres downwind from launch point. I must of repeated this process a good 5 times and then got pissed of with it and called it a day. Not an ideal wind diection for the site and not enough wind, also could of done with my bigger board so only worthy of 2 stars. Also found a few rips in the sail which was a bit of a downer.
